Share Your CBS Story Become A Monthly Donor

Come and see what happens in people's lives when they discover God through the study of His Word. Our class meets weekly on Thursdays from 9:15-11:15 AM (Washington County, PA beginning Sept. 4th) during the school year. We also offer a Tuesday AM In-Person Class (Wheeling, WV beginning Sept. 9th) and a Tuesday PM Class (Online Only beginning Sept. 9th). Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week you'll participate in small group discussions and large group teaching. We also have monthly fellowships which provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class. Additional details can be found below.

We also offer a children's ministry for nursery/preschool age children at our Washington County class. If you would like to inquire about registering your child/children, please contact our Coordinator, Becky Hummer, at beckyhummer@gmail.com for further information.

Currently Studying: Psalms

If you've ever felt overwhelmed or even just worn out by life, you're not alone! The book of Psalms reveals how God has brought peace to people throughout history, experiencing the same troubles you may be today.

The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present.

This Bible study organizes the psalms thematically, making it easier to grasp their main ideas and apply them to your own conversations with God.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. CBS's offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with babies, and going through high school. Beginning in our elementary classes, our curriculum can be aligned with an adult class so that parents and their children may study the same Book of the Bible, enabling parents additional opportunities to assist their children in living out God’s truths in their lives.
